Donβt you hate it how you can only view your current uptime in Linux? What about all the awesome old uptimes your computer had achieved? Dry your tears and install Uptimed. It is a tiny daemon whose only job is to keep a record of all your uptimes!
Installing is easy:
$ sudo apt install uptimed
Sadly, you cannot get back all the old uptimes. But from here on, all your uptimes will be recorded.
You can view the best uptimes of your computer:
$ uprecords
The current uptime will be indicated with an arrow in the table.
The configuration file for this daemon is /etc/uptimed.conf
The daemon stores your uptimes in files in the /var/spool/uptimed/
directory.
Tried with: Uptimed 1.0.3.17 and Ubuntu 14.04
