LibreOffice Writer can be used to collaborate with other people to create a document.

To enable others to view the changes you make to the document, choose: Edit > Changes > Record. This command ensures that all the changes that you make to the document are recorded and stored inside the document.

To be able to view the changes made to the document, choose: Edit > Changes > Show. This shows all the changes made to the document by you and others.

To stop recording changes or hide the display of changes, disable these commands by performing the same action to uncheck them.

Tried with: LibreOffice Writer 3.5.7.2 and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
