How to add items from a RSS feed directly to Pocket

Pocket is a great way to read articles on a variety of devices: desktop computers, notebooks, tablets and smartphones. However, it only supports manual addition of articles. It would be nice if it could add the items from a RSS feed directly as articles.

One way to do this, is to use IFTTT. Create a new recipe, add the RSS feed as the Trigger Channel and add Pocket as the Action Channel. That’s it! Items from this RSS feed will now be added as articles to Pocket by IFTTT.
