First activate MMS for your phone number. Information on this can be found here. This involves calling *110# After the call, you should get a notification from Starhub that “GPRS/MMS service has been activated”.
Most phones can be configured online using this website. The list of supported phones for online activation can be found here.
Sadly, the Nokia C1-01 is not supported for online activation. So, you will need to manually configure it to send and receive MMS as detailed below.
Go to Settings → Connectivity → Packet Data and set Packet Data Connection to Always Online
Go to Settings → Configuration → Personal configuration settings and choose Add New
Account name: Starhub MMS
Server address: empty
Use preferred access point: Choose no
Go to Access point settings and set Proxy as enabled.
Proxy address: 10.12.1.80
Port: 80
Leave Bearer setttings as it is.
Go back and choose Starhub MMS and choose Activate.
Now restart the phone, there should be a G at the top indicating GPRS. Now send yourself a MMS to check if you receive it.
