Masti

Masti is a 2004 Bollywood comedy starring Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Ritesh Deshmukh as three friends who have gotten tired of their married lives. Wanting to try something exciting they all have an affair. Tragically for them, the girl who they all put out with turns out to be the same (Lara Dutta). She demands a ransom to keep the affair under wraps. Just when they scrape together the money required after adventurous capers, she is found dead and they have a police officer (Ajay Devgan) biting at their heels.

I watched Masti with pretty low expectations and was well entertained. The movie is definitely funny and watchable despite having an over-used Bollywood plot. All the characters are pretty fun to watch, especially Ajay Devgan with his “I hate crime” dialogues. Masti is a good entertaining Bollywood comedy for stressed times.
