Watched Crash. The movie follows 2 days in the lives of a racially diverse bunch of LA residents. Their paths seem to be crossing each other all the time and finally crash together during an automobile accident. The characters are from all races (and most of them are racial bigots). The story is slick and background music (by Mark Isham) is impressive. But, Brendan Fraser as District Attorney? Aw, come on! That too with that fake sounding voice? Anyway, the movie won the Oscar for Best Film in 2005, which I frankly believe it doesn’t deserve. The movie’s definitely watchable, but it isn’t Oscar-winning good!
